From the Rose Church, travel north until you reach the Dragon-Burnt Ruins. At these ruins, activate the Site of Grace before resting before beginning your grind!

Run over to the site of grace, then look across the river. Spotted is an evil-looking bird waiting in the distance – shoot it with an arrow and watch as it plunges toward its death! Finally, rest at your site of grace before repeating.

2. The Liurnia Highway North Site of Grace

Starting early-game rune farming at Castle Redmane can be done easily even before conquering Mohgwhyn’s Palace. All that’s required is a bow, gold scarab talismans (available from Abandoned Cavern in Caelid) to accelerate elden ring runes acquisition, and access to Castle Redmane.

To become successful at this game, simply stay behind the castle and observe as the soldiers and monstrous dogs battle each other; these enemies can easily be killed and automatically return you hundreds of runes per death. To reach this area, head to Stormhill and wander southeast of Warmaster’s Shack Site of Grace. Eventually you’ll encounter five trolls who, when killed, award 1,000 runes each as rewards.

These enemies can be quickly dispatched at virtually all levels – just hit them from behind to stagger them and open a critical attack that can win you lots of elden ring runes quickly and effortlessly. Repetition will result in amassing an impressive sum within two minutes!

4. The Dragonbarrow

PowerPyx’s YouTuber PowerPyx showcased this site of grace as the fastest way to gain runes early game. Simply equip a crossbow or bow at level 15 or higher with you crossbow or bow equipped and you can repeatedly kill this flightless dragon until your rune supply reaches level 10.

Farming the dragon in this region isn’t the only straightforward endeavor available; nearby Dragon-Burnt Ruins south of Lake Agheel also contain rats you can easily backstab and dispatch with ease.

At the Palace Approach Ledge-Road Site of Grace (which can be activated from the top of a bridge), there’s a group of sleeping Albinaurics worth 2000 Runes each when killed – they don’t attack unless hit, making this an excellent low-level farming spot suitable for players of all levels!

5. The Palace Approach Ledge-Road Site of Grace

Elden Ring offers some of the most efficient rune farming opportunities outside the palace, which is easily accessible even at the start of the game. For this technique to work properly, however, certain conditions must first be fulfilled, including having made progress through Stormveil Castle, defeated Godrick the Grafted and unlocked Torrent as horses.

At present, this area contains numerous soldiers fighting spiritual attackers and three gigantic dogs, each dropping over 2000 elden ring runes each. To make your farm as efficient as possible, sit back in a hidden spot and entice soldiers into engaging the dogs, before killing each one one by one as soon as they become distracted by soldiers engaging them.

There are some red patrolling Albinaurics who can be annoying, but they’re easily managed at lower levels and can even be backstabbed – this strategy can earn an extraordinary amount of runes per hour without much effort!
