Semi final and final t20 standings
The semifinals of the tournament after super 12 t20 standings saw Pakistan take on Australia and the West Indies take on New Zealand. In the first semifinal, Pakistan put up a dominant performance, defeating Australia by 10 wickets to advance to the final. In the second semifinal, the West Indies defeated New Zealand by five wickets to set up a clash with Pakistan in the final.
The final of the tournament was held on November 14, 2021, at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium in Dubai. The West Indies won the toss and elected to bowl first, and Pakistan were restricted to a total of 154 for 6 in their 20 overs. In reply, the West Indies chased down the target with ease, with Kieron Pollard and Nicholas Pooran putting up a match-winning partnership of 70 runs for the fifth wicket. The West Indies won the match by eight wickets to lift their second T20 World Cup title.
